The Mummy Chiro Family

A mum of two little ones and a military wife, I am usually solo parenting during the week, if I’m not working you will often see me running around after our two little ones.

In 2019 I moved from Henley-on-Thames to set up a little practice in Newton Burgoland, but in 2020 we moved to Shrewsbury to be closer to my husband’s work. Sadly due to Covid I was unable to keep ‘Wright Chiro’ open.

But fast forward four years, two pregnancies, the arrival of our two amazing little ones and two house moves we are back in Leicestershire and can’t wait to get back to treating some familiar faces and meet many new ones.

In 2022 we welcomed our daughter at home, and my journey into motherhood began and I became the Mummy Chiro.

My passion is empowering women to stay active and healthy, helping not just postpartum but throughout pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond.

During my pregnancies I followed the guidance and got regular adjustments, continuing with my physical activity as much as life allowed. My second baby was breeched so used all my professional knowledge, especially my Spinning Babies training to allow little one to turn and for us to have another home birth.

MY STORY

Charlotte McKibbin

Doctor of Chiropractic MChiro DC 04005

Charlotte is a registered Chiropractor, founder of The Mummy Chiro.

Since becoming a mum, I appreciate now more than ever the importance of having your ‘team’ there to support and help you thrive and grow through pregnancy into motherhood and beyond.

As lead Chiropractor in Henley-on-Thames for 5 years, working alongside Physios (including a women’s Pelvic Health physio), Sports Therapists, Strength & Conditioning coaches, and Pilates & Yoga Instructors I expanded my knowledge and practice in so many areas. I can now help change the way others move and feel - challenging their mind-body connection through exercise and movement.

My motivation has always been to provide a 360 approach to my treatment, not just through Chiropractic care but lifestyle advice, providing tremendous benefits for people of all ages and walks of life. I’m a qualified Pilates instructor and Mummy MOT Practitioner, which enables me to focus on Women’s Wellness, being able to follow women on their journey through pregnancy, into motherhood, and beyond.

It’s been an extremely exciting adventure moving back to my home village of Market Bosworth and becoming a family of four.
